Doommantia T-Shirt Design

I've been a bad boy and have procrastinated too much in getting a few projects done. I am now all about getting this design done for Ed and his doomed website! I still am working on incorporating a logo and stuff outside the circle. My only concern is how it might go on a shirt and lose all the contrast with the shading. Maybe I will have to do a secondary high contrast illustration that will work better?
